Originally started as a school project, the goal of Old Mass Flag is to convince the Massachusetts legislature to return the flag to its simpler version. With several other states reconsidering their flags, it's time for the Bay State to follow their example and adopt a flag that reflects our history and identity.
To date, over 75 cities and towns have held votes and pledged their support for our cause. While much of our work is in our nearby Western and Central Massachusetts municipalities, groups on both Cape Cod and and North Shore have made great progress
We've worked with multiple city governments and are currently attempting to work with more state legislators to make progress on a larger scale. If you'd like to reach out to your local officials, we'd be happy to help.
Businesses are the backbone of our state, and we love to support local businesses. You may see some businesses flying our flag or selling merchandise. If you run a business and would like to join our web of partners and a flag to fly outside your business, please email us, and we'd be happy to work with you.

We pride ourselves on our community and the impact that a new flag could have. We love it when homeowners fly the flag outside on their porch, use a stick flag in their garden, and show their Bay State pride.
Wondering about working with us on custom ideas or event sponsorship, send us a wicked smaht email!
